Job Description
- Responsible for guest satisfaction and quality control within their area of responsibility.
- Interacts with guests and colleagues and operates in accordance with established SOPs.
- Leads the team and ensures the completion of all tasks during their shift.
- Accountable for food quality and efficient use of ingredients and other materials.
- Continuously monitors food trends and proposes innovations.
- Advises and educates kitchen staff as per the chef's instructions when possible and objectively evaluates their performance.
- Ensures compliance with general and specific hygiene standards (personal hygiene, environmental cleanliness, storage hygiene, food production, and service).
- Prepares dishes in line with defined standards and prescribed norms.
- Inspects and adjusts the cleanliness of the kitchen, cold rooms, storage, and locker areas.
- Handles guest complaints and feedback regarding food, drinks, or staff performance, taking corrective actions to address issues and meet guest expectations.
- Responsible for the consumption of all energy resources in their area of operation.
- Must adhere to HACCP processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a chef position.
- Responsibility, independence, and organizational skills, along with the ability to work in a team.
- Efficiency under tight deadlines and strong stress management skills.
