Job Description
- Welcoming, seating, and serving guests with food and beverages, as well as handling payments.
- Familiarity with all items on the menu and wine list to provide recommendations to guests.
- Handling guest complaints and feedback regarding food, drinks, or service, taking measures to resolve issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assisting in cleaning and maintaining equipment, devices, work surfaces, workspace, and staff areas.
- Responsible for cleaning, polishing, and preparing inventory for service, as well as tidying tables and the restaurant in general.
- Actively collaborating with the chef and other restaurant staff.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor, when necessary.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Secondary education, preferably in hospitality.
- Work experience is an advantage.
- Teamwork skills.
- Organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in English and German.
