From September 18 to 20, 2026, Lošinj becomes a place where the sea, mountains, and sports unite! The Lopari Bike Weekend brings a unique weekend of active holidays, adventure, and one of the most spectacular cycling climbs on the Adriatic.
The Lopari Bike Weekend, taking place from September 18–20, is much more than a series of MTB races - it is an active holiday weekend designed for everyone, including competitors, recreational cyclists, active families, and nature enthusiasts.
The program offers activities for all ages and fitness levels, including easy jogging along the scenic promenade connecting Nerezine and Osor, family hiking tours, windsurfing lessons, and MTB climbs to the peaks of Osoršćica Mountain. Design your own pace and experience by joining all activities or selecting your favorite parts of the weekend adventure. E-bikes are welcome!
The highlight of the weekend is on Saturday, September 19, with two MTB races leading to the peaks of Osoršćica, one of the most attractive island mountains in the Adriatic. Participants can choose between two routes: a shorter and more accessible 8 km race to the St. Gaudent Mountain Lodge at Mažova Gora ridge and a longer 11 km race that continues all the way to Televrin, the highest point on Lošinj Island.
Both races start at the Lopari Camping Resort, pass through the historic town of Osor, and continue toward the Osoršćica peaks through a unique landscape where sea and mountain scenery merge. Spectacular views of Kvarner Bay, Istria, Cres, Lošinj, and the surrounding islands await participants every kilometer, creating the sensation of literally riding between the sea and the sky.
Osoršćica offers more than just a sporting challenge, it provides a unique experience of nature and freedom. The climb tests participants' endurance and rewards them with breathtaking panoramic views of the Adriatic.
Throughout the weekend, Lopari Camping Resort is the gathering place for athletes, guests, and active vacationers. Alongside the sports program, visitors can enjoy social events, island gastronomy, an after-party, and additional activities that foster a relaxed festival atmosphere.
